What are targets?
Targets allow you to segment your customers and apply dynamic intelligence in your digital channels. Using filters you can create audiences to target, content, widgets and layouts.
Using targets you can also send targeted notifications and emails to your customers.
To create a target go to Account > Customers > Targets. You'll see targets that were previously created with the number of customers and you can edit the target by selecting the 3 dots .
Note: There are targets for your customer profile fields (custom fields), form answers, login and registration dates.
Click on + New Target in the top right corner to begin creating customer audiences.
Select a filter and click:
When you have your criteria for the target ready you can select Save as a Target. However if you simply want to filter users without saving as a target select .
Targets consist of filters where you select an Attribute Filter, an Operator and a Value.
The Value will depend on the filter you apply. For example the filter Activation Status has 2 Values: Activated or Deactivated
The filter Login Device has 2 Values "Desktop" and "Mobile".
For numeric or date ranges there are Operators:
Example: Numeric (Age)
- Less Than
- Greater Than
Example: Date Ranges (Birthdate)
To create a target you can select from the following filters:
|Activation Status||Filters by users that have been activated or deactivated in the platform.|
|Age||Filters by the users age using an operator.|
|Birth date||Filters by birthdate using an operator.|
|Custom Field Value||Filters by custom profile fields with imported data or data completed by the user when registering. You can filter by custom field type.|
|Login Device||Filters by desktop or mobile access to the platform.|
||Filters by email campaign between a certain date range.|
|Spam Email Reported||Filters by an email with a spam report within a date range.|
|Form Responses Count||Filters by the number of answers in a form selecting one or more forms.|
|Gender||Filters by male, female, undefined.|
|Last login date||Filters by the last login initiated by a user using an operator.|
||Filters by the number of logs generated by a user in a date range.|
|Login at date||Filters users by the date that they logged in (initiated a session) including the actual session.|
|Emails not opened||Filters by email campaigns that were not opened by a user within a date range.|
|Emails opened count||Filters by the number of total email opens in all campaigns.|
||Filters by campaigns with opened email within a data range.|
|Notifications Opened||Filters by notifications that were opened by a user between a date range.|
|Notifications opened count||Filters by the total number of notifications opened by a user for all notifications sent.|
|Registered date||Filters by the date the user was registered in a date range.|
||Filters by tags that admins use to group users in the platform.|
|Answered||Filters by the specific answers to a form field.|
Note: Targets span all sites or channels. You can create segments by data captured in logs that spans your digital channels or data that you import into the platform to organize your customers.
