What are Roles & Permissions?
Roles and permissions in the platform allow you to control who can do what at a highly granular level by site. You create roles that are then assigned to different administrators. Roles determine the permissions that different administrators will have within a site.
Go to Account > Settings > Roles to begin.
Once you've defined your roles it becomes easy to specify which user will have access to what actions
Creating a Role
- Select + New in the top right corner to create a role.
- Provide a Name for the role and activate Permissions selecting the switch to "ON". All permitted actions will have the green switch to "ON" .
A role consists of multiple permissions typically with 4 possible actions: Create, View, Edit and Delete. Permissions are associated with all main functionality of the platform. The platform provides a high degree of granularity when setting permissions for different types of administrators.
