What is the People section?
People is your complete database of customers and administrators. Any authenticated user can be found in people.
Note: In the platform a customer or user has a unique profile across every channel. With one single sign on, your customers can navigate across your sites interacting in different ways, yet their profile will be fed with logs and interactions that form a 360 degree profile of your customer to understand and service them better.
In this article:
To create a user or importing customers go to Account > Customers > People and simply select +New in the top right corner.
You'll have 2 options Add User or Import Users.
Enter the First Name, Last Name, Email and Password. You can also assign tags to filter your users quickly.
Note: In the platform the unique ID for the user is the email. You won't be able to create 2 users with the same email address.
You can select the checkbox " Send password to user email" to have the user receive their login information.
At the bottom you have the option to immediately add the user to certain Sites with certain Roles. Simply click to activate the Site access and Role if the user will be an admin. If you "Grand administrator rights" the user will have administration privileges over everything in the account.

The platform has a powerful search engine based on Elastic Search. You can filter by Status, Verification, Roles, Targets, Create Advanced Filters and the Search Bar .
The Advanced Filters allows you to quickly segment your users and create a Target with the filter you created.
You can also order your users by Name, Sign Up Date, Last Login and Logins Count by clicking .
Viewing and Editing Users
When you select a User Name you'll see their profile. The profile shows Activity, Sites, Answers to forms, Social Connections (Authentication with Google, Facebook), Site Access, API Access, Notes and Profile Data.
In the top right corner you can select the 3 dots to quickly activate or deactivate a user from the platform account.
In the left column you'll see some basic profile data such as which targets the user pertains their status "Verified/Unverified", last login and total logins to the platform.
When you select "Edit" you'll have access to all the user fields and custom fields created for the profile. Within the user fields you can also add tags.
Bulk Actions with Users
You can perform bulk actions with users such as adding a tag to multiple users at once. To activate Bulk Actions you need to select the checkbox on the top left or individual users.
The bulk actions are:
- Activate: Allows the user to access sites and interact within sites.
- Deactivate: Prohibits the user from initiating a session.
- Export: Exports your database of users.
- Add Tags: Allows you to group users by tags.
Note:When selecting the checkbox an option appears in the middle of the page to Select your entire database of users to apply bulk actions. Make sure to select this option when applying multiple tags based on a filter.
