What are places?
Places allows you to create any branches, store locations or any point of interest for your customers that will display within Google Maps.
Go to Site > Applications > Places to view a list of places. You'll see a list view of places that you can filter. Click on to order the places, or click the 3 dots to edit or select + New in the top right corner to create a new place.
Create a place
Use the following fields:
Title: The name of your place. Ex. Branch Location
Excerpt (optional): This can help your findability with Search Engines.
URL: The URL for the place. You can edit to make the URL more friendly.
Description: The platform uses Froala as the text editor and you can select to go to the code editor using CodeMirror. Use the tool to enter the description of your place.
Address: The address field is integrated with Google Maps and using the text search tool will look for the address as you write. You can click on the map to pinpoint the exact location of your place.
Click on to add the address. You can add multiple addresses for one place and drag and drop the order of the places using .
Cover Images: Cover images can be shown associated with the place depending you your Front End Design.
Categories: Allows you to associate your places with a category.
Tags: Allows you to associate your places with one or many tags.
Publish Options: Provides flexibility as to when you'd like your content to show on the Front End. You can set the publish options to an exact date and time or simply publish immediately.

You can extent the attributes of your places by going to Site Settings > Applications > Places > Configurations.
As in all the structured content applications, Places generates a .json view.
