Content Creator
A Content Creator is usually business user who focuses on the creation and editing of content. Within the content application you can publish structured content. (Posts, Albums, Videos, Places, Promotions, Custom Content). You can also create custom content fields.
The basic pattern of allowed permissions for the Content Creator role is the ability to create, edit, and view content, but not delete it. We also want to limit Content Creator access to application settings.
When working with any of these applications when installed, here are the recommended minimum allowable Permissions. You can find them under their respective tab names:
Content
Places
Promotions
Content Manager
A Content Manager should have full access to structure content, including the ability to delete digital resources, as well as view and adjust Application settings.
In the General tab, Content Managers may also take over resources that are locked for editing.
Content Managers should also have all permissions in the Manage Applications permissions group enabled.
