Dear Customers,
On Tuesday, June 13th from 15:08 to 17:29 (GMT -4) , Amazon Web Services (AWS) services were interrupted by a regional outage (us-east-1) that affected multiple abstract services, including AWS Lambda. AWS Lambda is used within Modyo Connect to validate requests made to the API Gateway, which caused some outages and high error rates.
As a result of this incident, the following issues were detected affecting Modyo Connect services, for customers in one region:
- High error rates on requests to the AWS API Gateway.
- Errors in accessing the AWS Web dashboard
- High error rates of AWS Lambda service, which is used in AWS API Gateway
Modyo Cloud and Modyo Enterprise Cloud services were not affected by the incident.
We deeply regret any inconvenience this issue may have caused. From the Modyo side, we will escalate the issue internally with AWS support for further background.
